Marketing Assistant

Position: The Marketing Assistant position will support the Product Management team and the respective product categories with new product development, execution and project management. As part of the product management team you will collaborate with design, engineering, sales and finance to grow and innovate in the category.

Direct Supervisor: Product Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the product manager in all product marketing activities including new product development, packaging, promotions, and merchandising to optimize product/category growth.

  • Organize and manage product execution process from ideation, photography, packaging, web, and video.

  • Setup and maintain product setup on e-commerce websites.

  • Help coordinate the development of rich visual and video marketing content to help “tell the product story”.

  • Actively support product presentations to key customers.

  • Assist in research of existing market conditions and conduct feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new products.

  • Must be extremely organized and strong attention to detail is a must.

  • Must be proactive, work quickly and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • High degree of flexibility and initiative.

Requirements

In order to perform the responsibilities of this positions, candidates must fulfill the below requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the US

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering

  • Bonus if you have experience with consumer goods

  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
