Position Description

Job Title / Type: Customer Service Representative / Full Time

Location: Overland Park, KS

Position: The Customer Service Representative will assist the team by handling inbound and outbound calls and providing support to consumers with product defects and other related issues. This position will also assist the warehouse specialist on a daily basis.

Direct Supervisor: Customer Service Manager


  • Responds to customer service phone calls, emails, instant messages

  • Capable of identifying customer issues and providing resolutions

  • Records all customer service claims and correspondence into Zendesk database software

  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Assists in maintaining clean and organized warehouse

  • Ensures merchandise is mailed out to customers in a timely manner

  • Assists with organizing and restocking inventory

  • Any additional tasks required by administrator


  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong computer proficiency and comfortable learning new computer applications

  • Needs to have "thick skin" and be able to handle complaints, even when customers are unpleasant

  • Outdoor/Camping Market Knowledge a plus


In order to perform the responsibilities of this positions, candidates must fulfill the below requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the US

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required

  • 1-2+ year Inbound and Outbound customer service experience

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
