Position Description

Job Title / Type: Business Development / Sales Coordinator – Full Time

Location: Overland Park, KS

Direct Supervisor: Director of Business Development

 

Position:

The Sales Coordinator will assist the Business Development team to achieve high-level service to our retail partners, by providing support to internal sales managers and external rep agencies through the coordination of sales and customer planning activities. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development team to continue building relationships with existing retail partners, while identifying new opportunities for distribution

  • Build presentations and sales sheets for line reviews, trade shows, and customer meetings.

  • Review sales reports on a regular basis for account managers and sales representatives. Mine sales data for opportunities or issues.

  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to maintain customer forecasts, stay informed of key product deliveries into the warehouse and monitor outbound shipments for on-time arrival.

  • Manage Sales Documents and customer programs via Sharepoint and shared drives

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, and brand initiatives are managed effectively

  • Submit and manage pricing across multiple retail channels

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product lines and customer programs

Requirements

In order to perform the responsibilities of this positions, candidates must fulfill the below requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the US

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communications, Marketing, Management or other related fields

  • 2+ years related experience  

  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft suite, specifically Excel
