Position Description

Job Title / Type: Brand Manager / Full Time

Location: Overland Park, KS

Direct Supervisor: Ali Dopps

Job Description:

The Brand Manager will be responsible developing various brands managed by Insight 2 Design. This position requires strong analytical skills as well as an ability to translate analysis on the business into recommended programs affecting all major aspects of the brand. Those aspects include advertising, promotion, product assortment, pricing, retail programs, ecommerce, and other key programs that could affect short and long-term profitability. Individuals must be aware of the external environment including general trends impacting the business, competitive assessments, and an understanding of both the brand’s consumers and customers. 


  • Responsible for developing overall annual, short- and long-term brand strategy

  • Promotes growth and expansion of the brand to increase brand value

  • Oversees implementation and adherence to brand guidelines

  • Responsible for promotions/advertising strategy, budget, and implementation

  • Collaborates with product teams to develop product assortment

  • Assesses customer growth strategies with business development team

  • Oversees direct website and marketplaces channels

  • Communicates with operations team regarding product forecasting and fulfillment

  • Contributes to annual brand planning and budgeting process

  • Manages brand social media advertising and strategy

  • Defines the voice of the brand both in trade and in community

  • Ability to analyze financial reporting for brands and devise actionable improvement strategies

  • Acts as the liaison between I2D and licensee partners

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing or other related field

  • 3+ years of experience in product management and/or marketing

  • Experience with marketplace platforms and/or direct-to-consumer websites a plus

  • Knowledge of project management principles; discipline of planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to achieve specific goals

  • Experience with paid search and/or digital advertising a plus

  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude and extremely strong attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to make an impact; Entrepreneurial spirit appreciated

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment
